Now these are some pictures....

Okay....we have a lot of pics to download to post with Kim's family in town, Amelia's birthday, the fall season in full swing and portrait time --- enjoy!

Alright...here we go.  I'm not going to words to all of these pics, but the potrait session was exciting on sooooo many levels that I simply cannot get into it.  Suffice it to say...we came, did what we needed to do [struggling most of the way], and got these pics done.  These are Addyson and Amelia's three and two year old shots, respectively.

Hmmmm...
 Addyson...all smiles in her chair.

 Beautiful...

"I want you!"

 Who me?

 The devious look off...
 The smug grin...

 Bite that lower lip...extra cute.

Addyson...in her natural environment [re: with the leaves].

Alright folks...no comments.  It was the best we could do.  When you asked to cages beasts to sit next to each other you're going to get what you're going to get [many minutes of frustration].

K...they're not looking at the camera, but this is still a cute shot.

All grown up.  Addyson looks like a pro here posing...note the gently clasped hands.

The close-up...

 Get set....go!

Amelia was just all too proud to pose for the camera...like her sister, a natural.  And more importantly, she [and the rest of us] survived to her second birthday --- more to follow on that!

 [the lower lip again...]

 Our little Amelia...

I can 'hear' a word in this shot...

 All-pro...
If you look carefully in this shot of Amelia...you see the hand of a certain three-year old on the left.

 Happy birthday to me....
Thanks to all who sent cards and well wishes for our Princess' birthday...here she's looking and Gordon and Cendrines card...and digging it!

The layout...

Don't ask...
Brandon and Sheila have joined us this past week and have been assissting [especially sinc eI was gone to Texas].  here they enjoy a swing with Amelia.  Of course to Ameia, they're just fresh entertainment...

And in comes mommy!

Amelia makes her way effortlessly up the rungs of her slide...

The best shots [and most of them are like this] are in motion...Addyson, being the fashion icon she is, is sporting her rubber boots with her skirt [Texas style, right?].

This would be a Daddy hug in action...inbound!

Addyson in motion...luv these.

There goes Amelia again...

Daddy hug!

This is a new one...I give Addyson little piggy-back runs in the backyard --- she really enjoys them.  Again, Addyson in motion.

Here comes a kiss from Grandma...

Here we go....ballon time for the birthday girl(s).

Hmmm...Amelia and a slide again.

Peek-a-boo...this is a recurring theme in this post [more to come].

Rrrrrrrmmmmmm.....Amelia is pretty young to be driving, but she knows what she's doing.

"Get out of my way dad!"

One of several gifts Amelia [and Addyson] recieved for her birthday, was a sandtable...pretty cool.  It sits about a foot off the ground and has a lid so we can seal it at night --- we'll probably put it in the basement in the winter.

Addyson commands the attention of the camera as she preapres to go down the slide.

I jsut thought this was cute...I took it before we went to the Olive Garden tonight.

Speaking of cute....here are our two little Princesses as we waited for our table this afternoon at the Olive Gaden.

 And more...
Birthday time...[this is the calm before the storm].

"...happy birthday to you."   Addyson: get on with it!

The big '2'...I have to day, it was a much 'cleaner' event than in events past [was still a little hairy at times].

Utencils...can you believe what you're seeing, they're using utencils!

They diligently worked away on the cake...

Mmmmmm, frosting....num-num-num-num-num-num.

Awe crud....there's a handful there with Amelia.

Yes...Addyson really did give Amelia a spoonful.  I missed the actual moment it went in her little mouth, but it did happen --- they do truly love each other.

Present time...yee-ha.

Tear it open sister...

Examining the booty....
 More stuff!

Hurry...help me open this!
 Open, open, open, open, open...
YES!  Another Max and Ruby book.

Back to the sand table...hours, and hours, and hours, and hours of fun.

Repeat after me: sand in the sand box.  Sand in the sand box.
 "All done...wash hands."
 Awe...Shelia and Kim.

Another Daddy Hug in progress...I love these [can you see the excitement in her little face?]
Repeat after me: sand in bucket.  Sand in bucket.

TEAM: Together-Everyone-Accomplishes-More

[especially Addyson and Amelia]

Really, what is this?  She looks like a college student loafing at home somewhere... problem: she's two and this is our house.  Kim's I-Pad has become Aemlia's I-Pad.

Hmmm...what's going on over there?

She's still there....

Kim and Addyson [bliss = the look on Kim's face]

 Hi Addyson...

Probably the best shot we've posted of the playhouse [sometimes referred to as the Outhouse based on some activities commonly performed there].
 Building, building...
Not sure what's going on here...we've got Addyson laughing and pullign her shirt up as Amelia investigates while leaning out the window---the girls play much more together lately.

Princesses...

Again...what is this?  Yes, I know it's Amelia...come on kiddo --- you're killing me.

See what we have to work with here...?

 As per the shirt...it does.

Peek-a-boo...

'Animals'

 There they go again...

Kim and Amelia...cute, aren't they?

Weeeeeeeeeeee.....

Again.  Weeeeeeeeee...............

Keep up the good work Grandma....

Addsyon, outside in her natural environment.

 Peek-a-boo....
 Here's Amelia!

"I'm concentrating."

If you look hard...you'll see two little Princesses in this picture.  Can you say, "Peek-a-boo?"

Just wonderful....

Kim and Shelia enjoying Ohio...

Alright...pickout a couple pumpkins [the results we interesting].

??????

Amelia strikes again...

Hope you enjoyed the pics.  More to come along with some videos...
